From the reflection that we had from last year Exhibition we tried to improve our PYP Exhibition by adapting new model to some aspect of this program. Here are some points that we conclude from the reflection
Less Text, More Visual display
This idea help stduents to let go off their display to present their Exhibition work. The idea is to engage audience with the visual representation of the issue or topic that they focused on. Many positive feedback come from audience where they said that stduents improve their communication skills not only orally but also visually. The presentation are good. More interactive, simple, discussion were more on the learning process instead of on the formative task.
Exhibition day during school days, not weekend.
The organization of the day are during school day. The choice of the day is good because people can still enjoy weekend afterward. The problem is during the rehearsal or during the presentation and performance on the PYP X day, they disturbed classes near the venue.
Better Communication system
This Exhibition we had better communication between mentors and mentees especially the use of Google Docs. The use of big book help students to record their learning in hard copies. We also use edmodo and blog to enhance our communication with students. Students recorded their reflection on the process board and also edmodo.
More collaboration
The transdisciplinary is visible to the inclusion of all single subject area. However, The single subject area should be blended with students' display instead of separated.

Simple short performance by students
The opening performance was simple and efficient. The drama performance was independently prepared and executed by the students. By having 3 times of students’ performance and presentation, students could have more chances to improve their performance.
Action
Some action done before and during the Exhibition are continued after the exhibition. This need consistency from the teachers and parents as support for students.
Simple planner for students
Students plan using a simplified IB planner without removing the essential element in the planning.
Overall with better organization of the PYP Exhibition Day, students can have more focus and engaged with their own inquiry learning. They also get involved more in the process for preparing the Exhibition day. Looking forward for the next PYP Exhibition Day.
