In our class we conduct several experiment which relate to the study of the universe. Students made an experimental question based on what they have seen and observed throughout the unit, then they come up with the plan for the experiment.
Some of their questions are stated below:
- How does density of a planet affect its speed of rotation?
- —Do bigger electrical currents produce bigger magnetic force?
- If the mass changes what will be the impact to the planet gravity?
- When asteroids with different sizes fall on the Earth, will it make different sizes of craters?
- Will the distance between planet and sun affect planet’s gravity?
- —How does the different composition of planet affect its magnetic force?
- How can the gravity of the sun and the earth effect the distance?
Below are two of the scientific reports that they produced. Some decided to redo the experiment because they got wrong variables, which is great as part of their learning process.
